Gresso, a company well-known for its luxury mobile phones, has added yet another feather to its cap. The company has now come out with its new Grand Monaco Collection. Gresso has mentioned in a recent press release that this line of mobile phones has been “inspired by Formula 1 racing”. The whole intent of this stunning line of is to bring to the brand force, stability, durability and elegance of the supercars used at Formula 1.
The Grand Monaco Collection design
The Grand Monaco Collection comes in an impeccable and highly creative design, using the high-tech materials that Gresso is commonly famed for. The entire concept of this line of mobile phones is extremely innovative and different from anything ever seen before. The external case of these mobile phones is made of titanium, as always and is coated with many layers of highly durable ceramic. Used only in the space industry, the material is virtually damage-proof.
The front and back case panels are coated with carbon, which makes it lighter than most other materials, while at the same time, much tougher than most. The external display is enframed with hand-polished 42K sapphire crystal.

- The keyboard, which is the most prominent, eye-catching feature, is perfectly flat and is crafted from a single, solid, piece of 100 micron-thick, polished steel. Under the keyboard lies a vacuum, ensconced in ultrastrong titanium Black PVD. This gives it a luminous sheen and makes it absolutely scratchproof as well.
- The navigation keys of the Grand Monaco Collection are created with extreme precision to give the whole piece that tremendously chic look. The figures and letters on the keyboard are laser cut for the best effect. The battery cover is secured with a Magnetic Smart Lock, which is again a hallmark of Gresso watches.
- This line of mobile phones brings with it a brilliant menu design – this feature is probably what makes the collection most worth it. Specs-wise, the Grand Monaco Collection comes with a 2 megapixel camera, Java and Wap/GPRS/EDGE connectivity. Besides, there are the usual Bluetooth and SMS/MMS features as well.
